The Tamiya 35377 is a 1:35 scale plastic model kit of the German Sd.Kfz.2 Kettenkraftrad, mid-production variant, one of the most recognisable small vehicles of the Second World War.

About this model

The Kettenkraftrad combined a motorcycle front fork and handlebars with a tracked rear section and central engine, giving it balance and traction that larger wheeled vehicles could not match on rough ground. More than 8,000 were built during the war, used for towing artillery, carrying supplies and operating where conventional transport struggled.

This mid-production kit reflects vehicles built between 1943 and 1944, identifiable by the rounded rear taillight base and reinforcing plates on the rear seat armrests. The kit is supplied unpainted and unassembled, so paint and glue are needed to complete the build.
