Tamiya 35219 Jeep Willys MB 1:4-ton 4x4 Truck 1:35 Scale Plastic Kit

The Tamiya 35219 is a 1:35 scale plastic model kit of the Jeep Willys MB 1:4-ton 4x4 Truck, one of the best known vehicles of the Second World War.

About this model

The Willys MB was developed from 1941 after the US Army called for a small, tough 4-wheel drive vehicle capable of excellent cross-country performance. Mass produced alongside the Ford GPW to the same Willys blueprints, it served Allied forces as a troop carrier, liaison vehicle, command car and light ambulance throughout the war, with production reaching around 640,000 units by August 1945.

This kit forms part of Tamiya's 1:35 Military Miniature Series, built from detailed measurements and reference photography of the full size vehicle. The finished model includes a display stand and is suitable for diorama building.
