PRODUCT INFO
Humbrol DecalFix is a water-based decal solution supplied in a 125ml bottle, designed to help scale modellers apply decals cleanly to painted surfaces.
About this model
DecalFix softens decals so they conform to panel lines, rivets and curved surfaces, then secures them once dry for a flat, finished appearance. The 125ml bottle gives enough solution for several projects across different builds.
It's formulated to minimise silvering, the white haze that can appear under decals on matt paint, making it a useful addition alongside your usual painting and weathering supplies.

Common questions
How do I apply DecalFix?
Brush the solution directly onto the decal or immerse it for around 45 seconds until it softens, then slide it into position with a brush and dab dry with tissue paper.
How long does it take to dry?
The formula dries in 20 to 30 minutes, so you can work at a steady pace without rushing the decal into place.
Will it cause silvering on matt paint?
DecalFix is formulated to reduce silvering, though care is still needed when applying it over matt surfaces to achieve a seamless result.
