Humbrol ClearFix is a solvent-based polymer adhesive designed to bond clear plastic components on model kits without causing the frosting that ruins transparent parts.

Clear parts such as aircraft canopies, cockpit glazing and window sections need an adhesive that won't cloud or craze the plastic. ClearFix forms a thin, nearly invisible membrane around the edges of the component rather than a full bond across the surface, holding glazing securely in place without affecting its optical clarity.

A cocktail stick is the usual way to apply it, running a fine line around the part before positioning. Excess adhesive wipes away with a damp cloth before it sets, and the 24-hour cure time allows plenty of opportunity to get the fit right before it's permanent.
