About this model
Aircraft 79-10781 was one of the original full-scale development airframes for the F-117A programme. The scheme reproduced here shows the aircraft as prepared for public display in 1991, after its radar-absorbent coating was stripped off by baking soda blasting, leaving the bare aluminium fuselage exposed beneath. This process gave rise to the "Toxic Waste" nickname that the markings on this model commemorate.
The model is built from diecast metal and comes with a display stand and retractable landing gear, so you can pose it in flight or on the ground.
