About this model
The F-15 Eagle was developed by McDonnell-Douglas, now Boeing, after the USAF identified a need for a dedicated air superiority fighter to counter the Soviet MiG-25 Foxbat. The F-15A first flew in July 1972 and entered USAF service in January 1976, becoming the first aircraft built solely for that role since the F-86 Sabre. This diecast model carries the digital camouflage scheme applied to Japan's two-seat F-15DJ variant operated by the Fighter Training Group.
The model comes complete with separate landing gear and a display stand, ready to pose on a shelf or cabinet.
