About this model
'Red Wrath' was flown by Lt. Col. Clinton L True during the October 1943 raid on Rabaul, part of the 345th Bomb Group's 'Air Apaches'. The aircraft carried eight additional .50 calibre machine guns for low-level strafing work, and the model reproduces the hand-painted falcon head motif on the glazed nose section along with the twin tail fin layout.
The model includes rotatable propellers, an optional undercarriage position, a rotating turret and detailed crew figures, along with a display stand.
