About this model
This version of the Willys MB represents the vehicles used to transport medics and paramedics during the war. A stretcher can be mounted on the back, reflecting how these Jeeps were used to evacuate seriously injured soldiers from the field. The set was released as part of a collection marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, and carries the special logo of the official anniversary celebrations.
The build includes high-quality prints based on historical markings, along with a figure of an American medic wearing a helmet marked with a red cross. The stretcher is a separate component that fits onto the rear of the Jeep once assembled.
