About this model
The An-12 was a Soviet-built four engine transport aircraft widely used for cargo work across Eastern Europe and beyond. This model depicts the type in the markings of Air Sofia, a Bulgarian cargo operator, giving collectors a civilian freighter variant for their display alongside more common military examples.
The model arrives pre-assembled in robust plastic, with no glue needed. The wings fit to the fuselage using a plug-in joint, keeping the airframe's lines correct while making the model straightforward to handle. The fuselage livery and landing gear are painted, and a display stand is included along with fully detailed landing gear.
