PRODUCT INFO
This is a 1:72 scale die-cast model of the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor from Air Force One Models, finished in the "Pair o Dice" markings of the 90th Fighter Squadron based at Elmendorf AFB.
About this model
The F-22 Raptor is a stealth enabled tactical fighter developed primarily as an air superiority fighter, though it is also capable of other mission types. The USAF originally planned to order 750 units, but this was reduced in 2009 due to high costs and a shortage of comparable opposing aircraft, with delays in Chinese and Russian fighter programmes contributing to the decision. Only 187 F-22s were ultimately delivered to the Air Force.
This replica is built from metal with some plastic components, finished with authentic markings for the 90th Fighter Squadron. It is supplied with landing gear fitted and a metal display stand for presentation.
