About this model
The model is presented in high-back configuration and represents the P-47D flown by Preddy during his ETO combat debut, before his later career as the top-scoring Mustang ace of the theatre. All three of his early Thunderbolt victories were scored in this aircraft, which also survived a flak strike and a dramatic air-sea rescue over the Channel.
Each model features a rotating propeller, optional undercarriage position, and comes with a display stand. This is a limited edition of 1,100 pieces.
