The Brewster F2A Buffalo was an early American monoplane fighter and one of the first carrier-capable fighters to enter US Navy service. This model is built from diecast metal with moulded plastic components, with panel lines, antenna detailing and surface finish reproduced on the airframe.
The finish shows the silver fuselage with yellow upper wings and white tail fin typical of the period, with a red nose carrying nose art of a hellcat wielding a lighted bomb.
