PRODUCT INFO
The AFV Club M18 Hellcat Tank Destroyer is a 1:35 scale plastic model kit of the US Army's 76mm Gun Motor Carriage M18, used in World War II and the Korean War.
About this model
The M18 Hellcat paired a 76mm gun, also fitted to some Sherman variants, with light armour and a Torqmatic automatic transmission, giving it a top speed of up to 55 mph. It served mainly in Western Europe from spring 1944, with smaller numbers deployed to Italy and the Pacific, and was used largely for infantry fire support rather than tank-to-tank combat.
This kit lets you build a model of one of the most effective US tank destroyers of the war. As a plastic kit it requires glue and paint, which are not included.
