Tamiya F-35C Lightning II 1:72 Plastic Model Aircraft Kit 60794

The Tamiya 60794 is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit of the Lockheed Martin F-35C Lightning II, the carrier-based variant of the F-35 family.

About this model

This kit reproduces the features that set the C variant apart from the other F-35 versions, including larger wings with foldable wingtip sections, reinforced dual-wheel nose gear and strengthened main landing gear built for arrested carrier landings. The landing gear bays are detailed with ribs and piping, and the fuselage carries fine Radar Absorbent Material texturing along with the Y-shaped air intake duct typical of the F-35's design.

The cockpit includes a Martin-Baker US16E ejection seat and a seated pilot figure with Helmet-Mounted Display, while the kit also features a one-piece engine nozzle and clear parts for the canopy and nose-mounted EOTS fairing. Masking stickers are included to assist with painting, and AIM-9X Sidewinder armament options are provided for the completed model.
