The Tamiya 35213 German Kubelwagen Type 82 is a 1:35 scale plastic model kit depicting the Wehrmacht's lightweight off-road vehicle used throughout the Second World War.

About this model

Developed from the Volkswagen project and finalised in November 1938 as the Pkw. K1 Kubelwagen Type 82, the vehicle used a monocoque body, a rear-mounted air-cooled four-cylinder engine and torsion bar suspension. It served reconnaissance battalions and other units across the African, Eastern and Western theatres, with around 51,000 produced by the end of the war.

This kit reproduces the car's ergonomic shape, including a working collapsible windshield and doors that can be built open or closed. The driver position, seats, underside and suspension are all depicted, and a driver figure is included in a realistic pose.
