PRODUCT INFO
This is a 1:48 scale plastic model kit of the ICM Spitfire Mk.XVI, a British WW2 fighter aircraft produced by ICM.
About this model
The Spitfire Mk.XVI was a development of the established Spitfire line, fitted with a more powerful engine that improved its performance in low-altitude combat, high-altitude interception and fighter-bomber roles. ICM's kit reproduces this variant with attention to the type's elliptical wing shape and overall proportions.
The kit includes 136 precision-molded plastic parts on detailed sprues, together with assembly instructions. Two marking options are supplied, allowing you to build either an RAF LF.XVI E from 74 Squadron flying over Germany in April 1945, or a Polish 308 (Kraków) Squadron aircraft flown by Squadron Leader K. Pniak, credited with 7 aerial victories.
