PRODUCT INFO
The Oxford Diecast Ilyushin Il-10 is a 1:72 scale diecast model aircraft finished in the markings of the Soviet 108th Guards Assault Aviation Regiment.
About this model
The Il-10, known to NATO as 'Beast', was a heavily armoured Soviet ground attack aircraft that entered service in April 1945 and saw action in the final months of WWII in Europe. Over 6,000 were built before production ended in 1954, with examples serving across Eastern European air forces until 1962.
This model arrives finished and ready for display, with mid and dark grey camouflage on the upper wing surfaces and pale blue-grey undersides, representing authentic Soviet warbird livery of the period. Red Soviet stars are applied to the underwings, rear fuselage and tailfin, with matt black detailing on the gun barrels, wheels, propeller blades and engine intakes.
