Revell Westland Puma HC.1 RAF Helicopter 1:144 Plastic Model Kit

The Revell Westland Puma HC.1 is a 1:144 scale plastic model kit of the RAF's long serving tactical transport helicopter.

About this model

The Puma HC.1 served as a mainstay of RAF transport operations for decades, built under license from the French Aérospatiale design and adapted for British service. This kit covers the type in its compact 1:144 scale, suiting modellers who want an accurate replica without the display space a larger helicopter model demands.

The set comes as a complete package rather than just the sprues. Alongside the 68 parts you get basic Revell Aqua Colours, a brush, Contacta Professional Mini adhesive and a decal sheet covering two historic RAF schemes, so you can begin construction and painting straight away.

The decal sheet covers two historical RAF operational schemes, one for the desert camouflage worn during the Gulf War and one for the Northern Ireland conflict livery of No. 230 Squadron.

Do I need to buy paint and glue separately?

No. The kit includes basic Revell Aqua Colours, a brush and Revell Contacta Professional Mini adhesive, so you have the essentials to start building and painting immediately.

Is this kit suitable for beginners?

It is rated skill level 4, so some prior modelling experience is recommended given the fine surface detail across the 68 parts.
