Airfix Blackburn Buccaneer S.2 Gulf War 1:72 Plastic Model Kit

The Airfix Blackburn Buccaneer S.2 is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit depicting the RAF strike aircraft as it appeared during the Gulf War.

About this model

This kit represents the Buccaneer S.2 in its Gulf War role, finished in desert camouflage and marked for the 'Sky Pirates' squadron. During Operation Desert Storm the aircraft provided laser designation support using Pave Spike equipment, allowing other RAF strike aircraft to attack from higher altitudes while the Buccaneer handled target marking at lower level. The kit reproduces this equipment along with the aircraft's distinctive profile.

Inside the box you get pre-coloured plastic components, an instruction sheet, a paint layout guide and water-slide decals for the Gulf War markings scheme.
