Airfix 617 Sqn. Dambusters 80th Anniversary Lancaster & F-35B Gift Set 1:72 Plastic Kit

The Airfix 617 Sqn. Dambusters 80th Anniversary Gift Set is a 1:72 scale plastic kit pairing two aircraft flown by No.617 Squadron, the Avro Lancaster B.III (Special) and the Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning.

About this model

The Lancaster represents the aircraft type used on Operation Chastise in May 1943, built with the modifications needed to carry the Upkeep mine. The F-35B stands alongside it as the aircraft currently operated by the reformed 617 Squadron, giving a direct comparison between the two eras.

Both kits come with everything required to complete them to a painted and finished standard, including acrylic paints, brushes, cement and decals for squadron markings on each aircraft.
