PRODUCT INFO
The Airfix Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17F 'Fresco' is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit of the Soviet jet fighter.
About this model
The MiG-17 was developed from the earlier MiG-15 as a new design built to counter bomber threats. Despite being a subsonic aircraft, it proved highly manoeuvrable against more advanced American fighters during the Vietnam War, recording victories over aircraft such as the F-105 Thunderchief and McDonnell Douglas Phantom. It went on to become the standard fighter of the Warsaw Pact from the mid-1950s, built under licence in China and Poland and operated by over thirty air forces worldwide.
This kit comes with a plastic sprue set, instruction sheet, paint guide and decal sheet, giving you everything needed to build and finish the model with two genuine livery options.
