PRODUCT INFO
This is the Oxford Diecast Gloster Gladiator Mk I in 1:72 scale, a diecast model aircraft finished as K6130 of RAF No. 72 Squadron.
About this model
The Gladiator Mk I represents the RAF's final generation of biplane fighters, in service during the expansion period of the late 1930s as the service prepared for the possibility of war in Europe. K6130 served with No. 72 Squadron at RAF Church Fenton in Yorkshire from 1937, before the aircraft went on to transfer overseas.
The model carries an all-over silver finish with RAF roundels reproduced on the upper and lower wings and fuselage. Rust brown exhaust pipes, lighter brown cowling edges, black-finished tyres, guns and engine components, and bright red wheel hubs complete the detailing. It arrives display-ready straight from the box.
