PRODUCT INFO
This is a 1:72 scale diecast model of the Airspeed Oxford by Oxford Diecast, reproducing the RAF training aircraft displayed in Hangar 1 at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, since 2014.
About this model
The Airspeed Oxford, known to crews as the "Ox Box", trained pilots for RAF Bomber Command during WW2. This diecast version carries serial number V3388 in black along the wings and fuselage, finished in dark brown and green upper camouflage over bright yellow undersurfaces, with RAF roundels and a green cockpit interior.
Panel lines, antennas and access panels are rendered in fine detail, and all markings are pad-printed rather than applied as decals, so they won't fade or peel over time.
