About this model
JC Wings has reproduced the twin-boom P-38J with pad-printed markings, fine panel lines and access panel detail across the diecast metal and plastic components. The finish is designed to hold its colour and detail over time rather than wear with handling.
The model comes fully assembled and ready to display. Landing gear is supplied as interchangeable extended and retracted sets with rotating wheels, ordnance loads are detachable and come with placards, and the canopy and control surfaces are selectively movable. A hand-painted pilot figure is included.
