PRODUCT INFO
This is a 1/72 scale diecast model of the Dassault Mirage IIIC from Hobby Master, finished in the markings of an Armee de l'Air aircraft of EC 2/10 Seine, coded #10-RF, as it appeared in May 1978.
About this model
The Mirage IIIC was among the best known French delta wing interceptors, and this piece carries the EC 2/10 Seine scheme applied by pad printing rather than decals, giving a finish that stands up to fading and peeling over the years.
Construction is diecast metal combined with some plastic parts, and the surface carries moulded panel lines, access panels, antennas and other detail. Screw heads under the fuselage are hidden to keep the lines of the airframe clean, and a stand is supplied so the aircraft can be shown as if in flight.
