PRODUCT INFO
This is a Corgi 1:48 scale diecast model aircraft depicting the Fokker DR1 Triplane flown by Leutnant Werner Steinhauser of Jasta 11, finished in German Air Force markings from the WW1 period.
About this model
The paintwork follows the camouflage pattern and personal markings carried by Steinhauser's own aircraft, giving collectors an accurate record of this particular pilot and machine. It belongs to Corgi's Aviation Archive series of diecast military aircraft models.
The build includes rigging lines strung between the wings, a propeller that turns, and an undercarriage fixed in the down position. Crew figures are supplied alongside the aircraft, so the finished piece is ready to display straight away with a wingspan of 151mm.
