This is a Gemini Jets Widebody Model Aircraft Hangar in 1:400 scale, a one-piece resin display hangar for use with 1:400 diecast airliners.

About this model

The hangar is cast in heavy-duty plastic resin as a single solid piece, with detailed realistic features moulded in. It is sized to hold one Boeing 747 or Airbus A380, or alternatively two to three narrow-body airliners, making it a flexible addition to a 1:400 airport display.

It is designed to work with all 1:400 scale airport mats and accessories from Gemini Jets. There is no fixed designated area for the hangar on the current range of mats, so placement is left to the owner. Hangars are usually positioned on the Gemini Jets expansion mat GJARP005, though this is presently unavailable with no confirmed restock date. Some customers instead use mat AAL005 from 1st Choice, cutting out the required area and attaching it to their Gemini mat. The hangar is compatible with Gemini Jets mats GJARP006 and GJAPR008 by scale, though neither includes a specific hangar area.
