About this model
The aircraft depicted flew with the 444th Bomb Squadron, 320th Bomb Group, a unit active in the Mediterranean theatre that received a Distinguished Unit Citation for its role in the Fondi action. Early in the war the Marauder had a troubled reputation, yet it went on to post the lowest loss rate of any American bomber type in the conflict.
Each model carries rotating propellers, an open bomb bay option, a removable undercarriage and detailed crew figures, and comes with a presentation stand. This release is limited to 1,500 pieces.
