About this model
This Aviation Archive release reproduces the Beaufighter TF.X with its eye-catching nose art, a reminder of the aircraft flown on anti-shipping strikes against Axis vessels off the Norwegian coast. The Beaufighters of the Dallachy Strike Wing, including No.404 'Buffalo' Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force, took on this maritime battle to cut off Germany's supply of raw materials, attacking shipping that could only move safely under cover of darkness.
The model comes with twin rotating propellers, optional undercarriage position and a display stand. This is a limited edition, with only 1,100 examples produced.
