PRODUCT INFO
This is the Aviation72 Panavia Tornado F3 ZE907, a 1/72 scale diecast model aircraft marked for 65 Squadron at RAF Coningsby in 1990.
About this model
The scheme reproduces ZE907 as it flew that season under pilots Flt Lt Fred Grundy and Flt Lt Martin Parker, carrying the markings worn for RAF air defence duties of the period. It belongs to the Aviation72 Premium range, issued as a limited edition of 360 pieces.
The cockpit opens to reveal detailed interior parts and pilot figures, while the wings and tailplanes move to recreate the aircraft's different flight positions. Air brake panels can be shown deployed, the undercarriage is adjustable for in-flight or ground display, and various armament and underwing loadout pieces let you set the aircraft up as you prefer. A display stand is supplied, fitting into the rear nacelles so the model can be viewed from any angle.
