PRODUCT INFO
The Italeri Tornado GR.1 RAF is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit depicting the RAF's Gulf War strike aircraft, issued as a 25th Anniversary release.
About this model
This kit represents the Tornado GR.1 as flown by the RAF during Operation Granby in 1991, with its twin-engine layout and variable-sweep wing design. The 70 parts cover the fuselage, cockpit detail and wing assemblies, with the sweep angle adjustable once built.
A decal sheet is included, giving authentic RAF Gulf War markings for aircraft that operated from bases in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia during the campaign. Assembly requires plastic cement and the model is supplied unpainted, so you'll need your own paints to complete the finish.
