PRODUCT INFO
This is a 1:72 scale diecast model of the F-35B Lightning II from Air Force One Models, decorated as an aircraft of the US Marine Corps and supplied ready for display.
About this model
The scheme depicts a Lightning II flown by Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 501, known as the Warlords, operating from Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort. This unit acts as the Fleet Replacement Squadron for the STOVL version of the F-35, handling conversion training for both pilots and ground crew.
The airframe is built from diecast metal with plastic parts added for detail, and the unit markings and insignia are reproduced to match the real jet. A metal stand is supplied so the model can be set out on a shelf or cabinet straight away.
