This is the Tamiya British 25-Pounder Field Gun and Quad Gun Tractor, a 1:35 scale plastic model assembly kit depicting two vehicles used by British and Commonwealth forces from the Second World War through to the Korean War.

About this model

The kit combines the 25-pounder gun-howitzer with the Morris Commercial C8 FAT, known as the Quad, the artillery tractor used to tow it along with other guns such as the 17-pounder anti-tank gun. Despite its sloped sides, the Quad was not an armoured vehicle.

Separate parts are included for sections of the cab and engine, and the gun can be built either ready to fire or in its travelling, towed configuration, giving the modeller a choice of display options.
