Humbrol Metalcote is a specialized line of solvent-based enamel modeling paints designed to replicate realistic, buffable metal surfaces on plastic model kits. The core feature of Metalcote is that it dries to a dull, matte finish and is designed to be polished (buffed) with a soft cloth once fully dry to achieve a high-sheen, realistic metallic finish.
