About this model
The two-seat F/A-18F carries a second crewman for mission systems or weapons officer duties alongside the pilot. VX-9 flies out of Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, where it handles developmental trials and fleet test work, and this clean airframe scheme leaves the sensors and fuselage lines fully on show.
This release is cast in diecast metal, capturing the tandem cockpit, undercarriage detail and overall fuselage shape. It comes with the landing gear already fitted and a stand supplied for display.
