About this model
Dottie Mae was lost on 8 May 1945, the final day of the war in Europe, while making a low pass over liberated Ebensee. The airframe was pulled from Lake Traun some ten years afterwards and brought back to airworthy condition.
Corgi's rendition carries the camouflage and Republic 28RA codes worn by the aircraft. It arrives ready-built from diecast components, giving it some weight in the hand, and comes packed in a collectors box for storage or display.
