PRODUCT INFO
This is the Corgi B-25D Mitchell 'Red Wrath' in 1:72 scale, a diecast model aircraft decorated in the markings of the 498th Bombardment Squadron 'The Falcons'.
About this model
'Red Wrath' was the mount of Lt. Col. Clinton L True during the October 1943 strike on Rabaul, flown as part of the 345th Bomb Group's 'Air Apaches'. For low-level strafing work the aircraft carried eight extra .50 calibre machine guns, and Corgi has replicated the hand-painted falcon head on the glazed nose along with the type's twin tail fins.
The model arrives ready made, with rotatable propellers, a rotating turret, crew figures and a choice of undercarriage position, plus a display stand for showing it off on a shelf or cabinet.
