About this model
The model is finished in the "Black Sheep" Squadron's 75th-anniversary livery, with a tribute to Major Gregory "PAPPY" Boyington marked on the starboard canopy. It represents VMA-214's service history on the AV-8B Harrier II.
Engineering details include rotating Pegasus engine exhausts, a spinning fan blade visible inside the fuselage, and a sliding canopy that reveals the cockpit interior. The undercarriage is removable, and the model is presented on a dedicated display stand. Production is limited to 1,500 units worldwide, making this the first 1:48 scale AV-8B Harrier II produced in diecast by Corgi.
