About this model

This kit recreates the FGR.2, the RAF version of the F-4 Phantom II that was adapted from the American design with Rolls-Royce Spey engines and modified electronics. The real aircraft served across the UK and West Germany during the Cold War and supported operations during the Falklands War, flying first from Ascension Island and later from Port Stanley Airport.

The set includes 728 bricks and clear instructions based on drawings and icons, so no text translation is needed to complete the build. Once finished, the model measures 380 mm x 240 mm x 120 mm and sits well alongside other Cobi aircraft kits for comparison.
