About this model

The Brewster F2A Buffalo was an American fighter that saw early WW2 service, designed and built by the Brewster Aeronautical Corporation as one of the first U.S. monoplanes with an arrestor hook and other carrier modifications. The F2A-3 was the final production variant of the U.S. Navy's first monoplane fighter, with greater fuel capacity, pilot armour and self-sealing tanks added at the cost of manoeuvrability and landing gear stability, leaving it outclassed by the time the U.S. entered the war.
