PRODUCT INFO
This is a Corgi 1:72 scale diecast model of the Messerschmitt Me 410A-1, marked U5+FE, as flown by Lt. Rudolf Abrahamczik of the German Air Force.
About this model
The Me 410 served the Luftwaffe's Fernnachtjagd night intruder role towards the end of the Second World War, operating alongside the regular bomber force to strike Allied aircraft returning from missions, often flying alone in darkness. This model wears a camouflage scheme suited to that role, and represents an aircraft flown by Rudolf Abrahamczik, a bomber pilot credited with at least 233 combat missions, many of them in this night intruder capacity.
The model arrives ready for display, built to Corgi's established diecast standards for collectors of military aircraft in this scale.
