PRODUCT INFO
This is a Corgi 1:72 scale diecast model of the Fairey Swordfish Mk.I, coded V4448B, a finished aircraft model rather than a kit.
About this model
The scheme depicts an aircraft of No. 833 Squadron FAA, operating from HMS Biter on anti-submarine patrols during the Allied landings in North Africa in November 1942. Markings reflect the aircraft's time flying from Gibraltar and from carrier decks in the Mediterranean theatre.
The airframe is cast in diecast metal, giving the model a reassuring weight. It comes complete with a display stand and arrives boxed, requiring no assembly or painting before it goes on the shelf.
