About this model
The MiG-21MF was an export version of the MiG-21, fitted with an R-13-300 engine and RP-22 radar. Poland took delivery of 120 units between 1972 and 1975, and the type remained in service until 2003. Improvements over earlier variants included a new radar, an uprated engine, the ability to carry R-60 air-to-air missiles and increased fuel capacity, and the aircraft saw use with air forces across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and South America.
The set reproduces the fuselage silhouette, air intake, armament and landing gear detail in precisely moulded bricks, with step by step illustrated instructions suitable for builders with no prior experience.
