About this model
The F-35A represents the conventional takeoff and landing version of the Lockheed Martin Lightning II, operated by the USAF alongside several other air arms. This replica wears the squadron and tail markings of the 56th Fighter Wing's 61st Fighter Squadron, as flown from Luke Air Force Base.
Construction combines a metal airframe with plastic parts for the finer details, and the paintwork and markings are applied at the factory. The model arrives fully assembled and finished, with a metal display stand supplied so it can go straight onto the shelf.
