About this model
This kit represents the P-51D variant of the Mustang, fitted with the Rolls Royce Merlin engine and built for long-range escort duties. It was developed to meet an original RAF requirement before serving in large numbers with the USAF, and later saw use in the Korean War and with some South American air forces into the early 1980s.
The box contains the plastic kit, instruction sheet, paint guide and decal sheet, giving you a choice of two paint schemes to finish the model.
