About this model
The C-54 was the military transport version of the Douglas DC-4, operated by the US Navy and other services long after its wartime introduction. This release depicts one of these airframes as used in test pilot duties, finished with the markings associated with that role.
The model is built in diecast metal with plastic detail parts, with the livery applied directly to the airframe. It arrives boxed with a display stand, ready to place straight into a cabinet or shelf.
