Because the paint is transparent rather than opaque, the finish changes depending on what lies underneath it, which gives you control over how strong the blue tint appears.

The acrylic formula thins and cleans up with water, flows evenly without blushing, and can be applied by brush or airbrush. It adheres to styrene, resin and wood without needing a separate primer coat, and mixes with other Tamiya acrylics if you want to create a custom tint.

Specifications

Brand: Tamiya

Colour: Clear Blue

Finish: Gloss

Volume: 10ml

Type: Acrylic paint

Common questions

Can I brush this on or does it need an airbrush?

Both methods work.
