The Jeep served as the unit's principal transport, offering better cross country performance than the Chevrolet trucks also used by the SAS, even though it carried a smaller load.

This kit includes two combat crew figures and a range of equipment options, allowing you to build the Jeep set up for long distance operations with heavy equipment, or for shorter range missions using one of two light equipment configurations. Much of the gear carried by SAS patrols is represented in the parts included.

Specifications

Brand: Tamiya

Scale: 1:35

Category: Plastic Kit

Era: WW2

Subject: British SAS Jeep

Crew figures: Two included

Common questions

What's included in the box?

The kit contains all parts needed to build the Jeep along with two combat crew figures and optional heavy or light equipment loads.

Do I need to buy paint and glue separately?

Yes, cement and paint are not included with this kit and will need to be purchased separately.

Is this kit suitable for younger modellers?

Some modelling skill is recommended for those under 10 years of age, and it is not a toy, as it contains small parts that present a choking hazard.

https://www.hangarmodels.co.uk/products/tamiya-british-special-air-service-jeep-1-35-scale-plastic-kit
