More than 8,000 were built during the war, used for towing artillery, carrying supplies and operating where conventional transport struggled.

This mid-production kit reflects vehicles built between 1943 and 1944, identifiable by the rounded rear taillight base and reinforcing plates on the rear seat armrests. The kit is supplied unpainted and unassembled, so paint and glue are needed to complete the build.

Specifications

Brand: Tamiya

Scale: 1:35

Category: Plastic Kits

Era: WW2

Parts: 185

Skill level: 4

What's inside: Plastic kit, display stand, instruction sheet, paint guide and decal sheet

Common questions

What's included in the box?

The kit contains the plastic model parts, a display stand, an instruction sheet, a paint guide and a decal sheet.

Do I need to buy paint and glue separately?

Yes, the kit is supplied unpainted and unassembled, so paint and modelling glue are required to complete the build.

What skill level is this kit suited to?

It is rated skill level 4, suited to modellers with some prior kit-building experience.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0982/0294/3863/files/half_0004_Layer1_6849c2a4-0d92-49c5-8908-d29a4e90da45.jpg?v=1785065683
https://www.hangarmodels.co.uk/products/tamiya-35377-german-sd-kfz-2-kettenkraftrad-mid-1-35-scale-plastic-kit
