This makes the range popular for aircraft builds where natural metal or polished aluminium panels need to be represented accurately.

The paint is touch-dry in 20-40 minutes, allowing you to move through a build without long delays between coats. It can be applied straight from the tin with a brush or thinned for airbrushing, and two thin coats generally give a better result than one heavy coat.

Specifications

Brand: Humbrol

Product code: 27002

Paint colour: Polished Aluminium

Volume: 14ml

Type: Enamel - Metal Cote Paint

Category: Paints & Accessories

Common questions

Can I use this paint on surfaces other than plastic?

Yes, the formula is suitable for plastics, wood, metal, ceramics and other common modelling materials.

How do I clean my brushes or airbrush afterwards?

Use Humbrol Enamel Thinners for clean-up and for thinning the paint if airbrushing.

How much surface will one tin cover?

The 14ml tin covers approximately 0.3m², depending on how thickly the paint is applied.
